Milly is a three year old Bichon who came to Animal Samaritans as an abused dog. She was rescued from a puppy farm having had three caesareans whilst there. Unfortunately Milly has recently been diagnosed with Cushing's disease which requires daily medication for the rest of her life. She is a long term resident of Animal Samaritans.
Milly is extremely scared of strangers and gives quite a bark if she sees someone she is unfamiliar with. Although Milly does bark, this is just a show as she is a very gentle dog who craves affection. Initially, Milly was too nervous even to be walked but with ongoing support from her carers and with a little moral support from her 'New Found Best Friend' another Bichon.
